Game Of Thrones is by far one of the most successful and highly grossing American fantasy drama series to arrive in recent years, consuming hours upon hours of our free time as we become consumed by it's deep storyline and bloodied action scenes. Not only are we treated to an eyeful of beautiful Princesses and the occasional scantily clad pretty prostitute, we're also greeted by some of the finest beards to ever grace of TV screens. Today we pay tribute to the top three Game Of Thrones beards in all their awesome glory!

Tormund is a fair and formidable leader who supports Wilding King from beyond the wall Mance Rayder. His families genes have served him well as he sports a thick, full and fierce ginger beard that simply heightens his authority as the legendary leader he rightfully is.

Khal Drogo leads a formidable tribe of powerful horseman in Essos. He's also the lucky man who wins the heart of the beautiful blonde Princess (soon to become Queen) of House Targaryen, Daenerys Targaryen. Drogo has a long yet shaped black beard which has been braided at the very bottom of his chin giving his character a stern and strong presence.

We've likely all been at the 'Jon Snow' stage during our bearing journey. Labeled throughout the seasons as the 'Bastard son' of Ned Stark, Jon joined the Night's Watch yet always felt like an outsider. Jon Snow's beard would be labeled as the stubble beard by most. varying in different seasons of the series yet always remaining a similar length. Little effort is needed to maintain this look, although some would consider this the 'itching' stage of growing out a beard. A challenging stage for any bearded Brother.
